Re: The Metal Compilopedia
You have also this one :
the 徒楽夢 Rockin' Live '85 LP (1985)
https://www.discogs.com/Various-%E5%BE% ... se/9073805
with live tracks.
being the hard/heavy ones the played by :
-Imperial Guards (best track but still hard to find a similarity since i just know this track by this band)
-Jerusalem (similar to Bow Wow but bit more proggier and lightier)
-Shotgun Married (female fronted. the singer would be more apropriate for a Pop band and spoils the effort of the rest of the band, i think)

I've been going through a few of these lately, and I found these minor typos
http://thecorroseum.org/comps/attackfromdownunda.html
STORMBRINGER spelled STROMBRINGER on the A-side
http://thecorroseum.org/comps/axeattack.html
TED NUGENT spelled as TED NUGET
MAHOGANY RUSH spelled as MAHOGONY RUSH
http://thecorroseum.org/comps/baileybrothers.html
"Vinyl" spelled as "Vinal" on the info paragraph
HERESY spelled as HERESEY in the A-side
Let me know if you want me to keep posting as I find them.

Re: The Metal Compilopedia
In the "To Boldly Go..." LP of 1986
I do think the track "Kill Two Birds" by CHEATER is pre-Harrier.
This track was recorded probably in 1981 or 1982 since the change of name occurred in 1982 when the band started gigging live
under the name of Harrier and on same year their Demo (also known as the "Sub Sonic Studio Tapes") was recorded also under the name of Harrier.
But after their reunion in 2009 they included this old track on their live setlist :
https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/H ... eek/548021
DAN, if you read this, perhaps using https://picosong.com/
can you upload that CHEATER track to the Forum, please ?
Thanks.

Yep, same sources I used to make this conclusion. I'll try to rip & share that CHEATER-track later this week.rumblefist wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2019 11:38 pm In the "To Boldly Go..." LP of 1986

Re: The Metal Compilopedia
Overtone 3 added - the tunes of interest are featured on the new VotVW-sampler.
Re: The Metal Compilopedia
On this one
http://thecorroseum.org/comps/heissewurstchen.html
The Christin D. track is listed as "Let's Make Love" even though you can see on the scan of the back cover that it's actually called "Risiko".

Re: The Metal Compilopedia
There's a mistake here on the following Compilation, Dan :
"Rock Huset - Start The Party With A Bang!" LP 1986
When you click to zoom on the front or on the back covers
what it shows is instead the zooms of the "Rock Fran Havet" LP 1986
here - http://thecorroseum.org/comps/rockhuset ... abang.html

Working on a really cool 'Special' comps-update that will hopefully be finished in the first few weeks of next year. In the meantime:

Re: The Metal Compilopedia
Only featured here is the Dream Sequence of 1986.
But i do think the 1983 release is by far more interesting - https://www.popsike.com/DREAM-SEQUENCE- ... 11366.html
