Side A:
Very far away from the "Ultra Metal"-sound that had been cooking in the Colombian-, and especially Medellin-scene for a few years you find the odd-men-out PERSEO. From the first roaring powerchords of the powerful opener "Vete" you get struck by how ahead of the pack these guys were as far as musicianship, vocals and production goes. The latter factor actually supersedes most of their more famous countrymen Kraken's releases from around this time and their style and overall sound is also completely different from most traditional, then-active HM bands from the South American continent. Basically, this is US Metal with spanish vocals. Not quite US Power Metal perhaps, but still a really classy form of urbane Steel that should appeal to pretty much any 80's Metal fan.
