Condemnation

Maybe it's the unfair "Death Metal"-tag I've seen applied to this Beauty that's been keeping it out of the Metal/Thrash-collector limelight? Me I can't see a single reason why any fan of metal, thrash and darkness should steer away from CONDEMNATION, even if said fandom should come with a significant dose of DM-scepicism. OK, so there's moments where they sort of remind me of exotic proto-Deathsters like Mefisto, Törr, Tormentor etc but mainly this is gerManic Thrash fundamentals in the good ol' Kreator-school, spiced up by some original Greek epicfications (you know, pompy intros, keyboard breaks, morbid whispers, cool shit like that...) The fact that they don't rev up to Sadus/Morbid Saint/Protector-speed and instead stay in the punchy, medium-fast spectra on all 4 songs works to their advantage. If you have enough good song ideas you get away with it, and it also gives them a tasty Euro-Speed Metal-edge <--- fave edge of mine!
