Redeemer - The Light is Stuck

Post by Mazez »

Here is the only album by this great Australian band. If there are any demos out there, please share.

By request.

Yeah thanks m8. One would never think they were a thrash band by the way they are dressed on the album cover. They look like they sing about fairies and trolls prancing in some European forest.

Outstanding Beauty, and NOT cause of its rarity ofcurse! This is a unique piece of Art in all aspects! One of my top Babes btw! 8)

P.S: I'm glad, I've never seen it in a fuckin boot till now!

It's a good one but nothing special I think!

Imagine it on a 93873987 copies run on Metal Blade or the like and there you have the "okay" album instead of the "outstanding beauty"

The Knell, before getting into wrong assumptions, please, read more carefully my post...what I wrote has NOTHING to do with the rarity of this record...I would write the same if this costed even 1Euro..I don't care...all in all, this is a grower, if someone desires to understand it better, more listenings are mandatory, imho...

Ah OK, sorry I misunderstood.. Well for me the band is more interesting because of the gimmicks around them and not so the music itself.

Oh, and something more: Redeemer nowadays is not as rare as it used to be a fiew years ago, cause a couple of copies have been found, so it can be easily acquired in a reasonable price..I remember, back in 2000-2003, even the most respectable collector I've ever known couldn't find a spare copy then, but now things have changed, so, for anyone who might be interested, get it while you still can...

A friend of mine traded himself a copy of it at KIT some years ago. I think he got it for the TROUBLE - "Warrior" lp, plus some other minor rarity.

It sure is a beauty, and the song "Magician" is an outstanding piece of Steel. As a whole it's good solid stuff, no more, no less.
