KARISMA (BRA) - Sweet Revenge LP 1983

Post by ION BRITTON »

Nwobhm influenced metal, kinda primitive and in-your-face in a certain way. I'd say that i dig the muddy production, it fits quite well with the mood of the material. And like Mr.Nuke pointed out, the funny songtitles have their own charm.

Karisma are here to fuck your ears:

I love this album. One of my favorites (in the top 20) from Brazil.

Is that the one with the walrus on the cover?
But does it slay witches?

Listening now. Curiously, it reminds me of early '80s US hardcore - I was listening to the first Tar Babies EP previous to this, & when Karisma started they didn't sound that dissimilar. Can hear a bit of Bad Brains in there, certainly. Thanks again!
