I have all first 10 OBLACHNYJ KRAJ albums in an official MP3 CD. Most of the albums exist on CD. However, they are quite hard to track.
About the tapes... Well, what are these old tapes called? You know, you have two circular thinguies with a tape connecting them... Many (most?) of the early 80s albums in Russia were released in that format. I remember people having those when I lived there '86-'91.
I actually bought an original "Svobody Zahotely" tape (normal tape) in Russia this autumn, payed 50 cents for it.

do you mind to post some pictures of the tapes to tease me? hehe

I don't have these good connections to Russia like most people here I guess, so getting an original tape seems to be impossible to me. They seem to be very obscure or am I wrong (e.g. Konsul)?

The only Russian records I own are two Korrozia Metalla CDs and one LP and a Holostoi Vystrel LP

Russian and other bands from this region so called Demo tapes NEVER EVER had any covers, til Death Metal explosion back in 1991-1992.That's sure.Better you trust me.People traded these recordings, dublicated tapes and that was all.Nobody even know what the Fuck Demo term is.As I mentioned first REAL Demo tapes(With xeroxed covers) started to apear in 1991/1992 when people discovered underground scene with zines (First zines in this region also started in 1989-1990)in Baltic states and just a bit latter in Russia,Ukraine. If any of you can show ORIGINAL DEMO WITH COVER of any band from this region til 1990 I buy a big bottle of vodka for you  .

Can't download them cause the server just seem to accept russian downloaders. Maybe someone else can try getting hold of it and then putting it on Rapidshare? Or I'll try again later...

Here's the "Prokljatij Mir" tape which I had since earlier:

I wasn't aware of the '89 recording before though. Texting Destrozer now since he's still in Russia and maybe he can help out. This is importat business, folks!

Seems there's a 3rd studio recording from 1990 mentioned on thispage. Let's all join the quest for more KONSUL!
Good stuff that is influenced mainly by Accept. That melancholic tone of other Russian bands is not present here. The heavy accent on the chorus of "Metallhammer" is killing me! :) Best tracks: "Proklyatiy mir", "Vihoda net" and "Metallhammer"

The sixth song Chiornaya Liliya is the best track in Konsert 1988. Metalhamer is a hymn

Oh yes, Mr Levon Vardanjan was surprisingly good . The LP is called ''Eurasia''
I also found a tracklist:

Левон Варданян и группа Парад(Levon Vardanjan and Parad group)(Rus)-Евразия(Evrasia) LP(1988)

01- Телечеловек (Telechelovek)
02- Аукцион (Auctsion)
03- Светлый день (Svetlyi Den)
04- Космолет (Kosmolet)
05- Евразия (инстр)(Evrasia-Instrumental)
06- Домовой (Domovon)(!!!)
07- Продавец счастья (Prodavesh Shastya)
08- Металлист (Metallist)

Oblachnyj Kraj I didn't download as I already have the discography CD.Always a bit strange and original...

Mobi Dik had me wondered. Is the same band with this?
