Situacion Hostil was an early Thrashcore band from Peru, formed in 1988 by Eduardo Gonzales (Penitencia) on guitars, Fernando Boggio (Ataque Frontal, Penitencia) on drums, Carlos A. Chavez (Ultimo Aviso) on bass and Gerardo Rojas (Sepulcro) on vocals. They released a demo in 1989 called "¡Abracadabra!" and got some good recognition in the Hardcore and Crossover scene. They played a lot of shows at the Jato Hardcore in Barranco, but split up in 1990.
In 1999 the demo was released on a Split CD with the Hardcore band Kaos General called "Situacion General" (Rock and Core, Peru). The band reunited in 2003, now with Rodrigo Vinces (Producto de Ira, Sentido Comun) on vocals and released a demo CD in 2005. They finally recorded their first album "Situacion Hostil" in 2006 with Oscar Reategui replacing Carlos on bass (Released in 2013 by Calambre Recs, Peru). After that they split up again.
