Praxis is one of the earliest Heavy Metal bands from Peru. They started out in the early
80s as a prog rock band with Carlos Castre on guitars, Carlos Murillo on bass, Eduardo Haro on vocals, Antonio Vargas
on keyboards and Aurelio Exebio on drums. They only recorded 2 songs during that period, called "Cancion X" and "Johnny
Quispe quiere Rock n Roll".
The second period started in 1985 with the addition of Eduardo Tamaris on vocals, Carlos Castre on guitars, "El Oso"
Coco Ibáñez on bass and Aurelio Exebio on drums. They recorded at least 10 songs but only 3 of them got airplay from
Radio Doble Nueve with the help of the DJ Pepe Coronado. The songs were "Buscando Equipos", "El Economista" and "Noche
de Brujas", in a Hard Rock style. They were getting popular and playing with the most important rock bands, and kept on
playing until 1986. In 1988 Eduardo Tamaris got the call to be the new vocalist of Almas Inmortales.
