Estrella Negra was the first neoclassical Heavy Metal band from Peru. They were formed in 1990 with the core of Eduardo Chavez on guitars and Percy Stambury (Dharma) on bass, with a lot of additional musicians like Juan Pablo Nieto on keyboards, Arturo Chavez on vocals, Beto Locutor (Dharma) on drums and Max Lonzoy (Kranium) on vocals. They played live for a short time, mostly covers from Yngwie Malmsteen.
