Arion was one of the earliest Heavy Metal bands from Peru. (Dont confuse them with the 90s Hard Rock band with the same name). Formed in 1984 with Ronald MacKee (guitar), Mario Gomez (bass), Carlos Chavez (drums) then Fernando Grimaldi joined on vocals and they recorded the song '' El lago de fuego '' In the studio of Pico Ego Aguirre who played it on his radio show Miraflores. Arion performed live at Ricardo Palma University (summer 1985) but with Guillermo Perez on the vocals. Then the band disbanded that same year.
