Here's another hard rock outfit from the States and it's a good one! Granmax put out 2 LPs, "A ninth alive" (1976) and "Kiss heaven goodbye" (1978) which is far more rare than their debut. Their main characteristic is the singer which has a unique voice, similar to the singer that participated in "Pampered menial" of Pavlov's Dog. The record is quite heavy for its time and this is obvious judging from cover and songtitles however don't forget it's still hard rock. There are songs (e.g "Respected man") that contain Sabbath elements and that's why is somewhat considered as a heavy metal band. As far as I know, Panama Records was a local label that signed another band called Missouri. So don't assume it will be easy to locate a vinyl copy although there is a CD reissue (2001, BR Records) available.
