This unknown EP stands easily among the top 10 post NWoBHM records (up there with HUNGRY TOUCH, TREASON, ARTISAN, WILD PUSSY, SLANDER, MARSHALL LAW, WILD ALICE etc, etc). I have said in the past that the metal scene of the UK in the period 1988-1992 was of high quality but unfortunately too obscure due to the fact that the bands were isolated and acted locally as British heavy metal was totally unpopular. Most of the recordings at that time were quite professional but were printed in tiny quantities. ''Climbing the mountain'' was recorded at BBC Studios and somebody would expect this record to have been pressed in a fair number but nonetheless it's an album too hard to find. Best tracks are "Shoot" (with an amazing riff) and the majestic "Coming home", but "Don't listen" and "Out of the fire" are also very impressive. Definately, a must!!
