Mesto Vstrechi Diskoteka 4 LP 1988
Label: Melodia #: C60 26583 006 Country: USSR
Info: Russian title: "Место Встречи Дискотека 4"
Made in the fashion of a radio show, with a 'dj' chatting between (and sometimes over) the songs. The title translates "Meeting Place Disco 4" according an online translator and it was he last in a series of 4 compilations but the only one with metallic content. Previous volumes included artists like Levon Vardanyan and Dialog who later came to record heavier material but there still in their pop-phase.

CONTENT
(bold = exclusive track / normal = non-exclusive track / italic = non-metal)

Side A:
1. Zastavka "Mesto Vstrechi"
  Jingle/intro.
2. AC/DC - For Those About To Rock
Unfortunately not dubbed to Russian. That'd been hilarious.
3. STATUS QUO - She Don't Fool Me
  Boogie rock.
4. ROLLING STONES - Satisfaction
  Rock.
5. JIMI HENDRIX - Hey Joe
  Rock.
6. DEEP PURPLE - Black Knight
  Proto-Metal.
7. FOREIGNER - Tooth And Nail
  aor.
8. Zastavka "Mesto Vstrechi"
  Jingle/outro.

Side B:
1. Zastavka "Mesto vstrechi"
  Jingle/intro.
2. SINTEZ - Skomorokh
CCCP-Steel at its finest and most classic. Aria and Magnit-fans need look no further.
3. KRUIZ - Rok Navsegda
Fantastic Power/Heavy with genious riffing that reminds me of Slough Feg(?!) Maybe their greatest song ever. Apparently from the same session as their debut LP, but left out for unknown reasons. (Perhaps it was too heavy?) Appeares as bonus track on several CD-reissues of their debut LP.
4. "ROK-ATELYE" KRISA KELMI - Sverkh Plana
  Rock.
5. VALERIY SHAPOVALOV - Rok-Laboratoriya
  Rock/rockabilly.
6. SINTEZ - Baltika
Even better and more original than the first track. Goosebumps-inducing chorus you'd wanna scream from the top of your lungs, fist raised to the sky.
7. Zastavka "Mesto Vstrechi"
  Jingle/outro.
