Sadistik Exekution

Post by The Sentinel »

I just pre-ordered the Sadistik Exekution box from Kneel Before the Master's Throne containing all albums except KAOS in picture disc format. Always liked this band a lot; complete deranged stuff. Surely not for everyone but I have a soft spot for chaos.

One of those Old'n'Cult bands that never really clicked with me to be honest.

I've gotta give some cred to Rok for being a sick & unique character though. Transexuality aside, I vaguely remember this part of an old interview (Slayer Mag?) where he claimed that if BATHORY ever played in Australia he would stay at home just to revel in the depression & misery it would cause him

I only have and like THE MAGUS... Haven't heard any of the demos prior to that. Are they worth checking out?

I think it was knowing that they were playing there and that he was missing them was heavier than the gig itself would be, or something like that, nothing could be heavier than that, something. Actually it was the Slaughter Lord drummer who gave the anecdote about Rok saying that. Always loved that quote.

Sounds familiar yeah.. cheers for clearing out the details. Still.. one of my fave 80's Black Metal-they-don't-make-em-like-they-used-to anecdotes.. That and Dead's buried epitaph-sweater..

Wha?! I remember him saying in Slayer that he'd like to be reborn as "a girl, so I could finger myself," but I thought he was just pissing about.

A friend of mine (Matt Skitz - drummer of Sad Ex on their European Tour) once told me a story about when they were somewhere in Europe on the Impaled Nazarene/Absu tour in 95 (I think?) that after one of the gigs when most of the punters where gone & it was just the bands and a few fans hanging around, Rok got everyone to stand around him & he pissed his pants in front of them all...
..then in a crazy fucked up state ran out of the venue & tossed his pants into some fields.. then hopped on the bus to sleep and drive on to the next town..
anyway, I guess that's not too crazy, but the problem was the next day when they arrived in the next town after driving the tour bus overnight his wallet, with all his money & ID, was in that pair of jeans he threw into the fields! haha
..he is a genius lunatic!
i also think on that same tour Rev Kriss Hades broke his finger or wrist of something... and the tour was nearly called off..?
i think there was also a major fight between Dave Slave & Kris Hades as well in front of all the other band members on the bus..
I can't really remember..
Great stuff! Great band!

Yep, Kriss Hades broke his hand on that tour - punching Dave Slave!! Anyone stuck in a tour bus with Dave would probably consider doing the same.

Rok a tranny? Hahaha, I don't think so...

No, don't have it yet. I mailed the label some days ago and they told me they're almost ready to ship. Don't know if they're sold out by pre-order.
