Some of my favourites (they have already been mentioned):

Exterminator - Total Extermination
Sepultura - Bestial Devastation & Morbid Visions
Sarcofago - INRI
Vulcano - Bloody Vengeance
Attomica - s/t
Genocidio - s/t
Mutilator - Immortal Force
But does it slay witches?

It's hard for me with Vulcano and Sarcofago, I think both share a #1. Sarcofago is more evil Deathrash, Vulcano more insane blackened Speed Metal

Well, if I have to choose an album, then Sarcófago would totally own Vulcano because of I.N.R.I. Now, as a band, Vulcano is more reliable. They have a few good albums and the same cannot be said about Sarcófago, since they went quickly downhill.

I know I've listened to this one and hated it, but I don't remember much of what it sounded like. Probably some generic, technical, western-sounding crap.

Now you tell me more about ZONA MORTA! I thought they played classic HM..

No one has mentioned Ratos De Porao yet. Interesting.

I've never considered RATOS DE PORAO as a death/thrash band, I think it's more thrashcore/crossover.

Some less known bands:

Ritual
Mortalha
Decapitation
Agressor
Necrobutcher
Bestial War
Gerrilha
The other Necrofago

Some are great and some are just unlistenable.

Yes, that is one reason probably. Corroseum members (and most of all, me!) always stick to the theme of the thread they're posting at. A quick look at the splits Dan has made in the last months will prove my point :P

On the other hand, they could have been mentioned as a favorite thrash/crossover act. But they got only one vote (which i didn't see before). I guess crossover is not exactly the favorite style of this forum.
There is a small but distinguishable difference between metallic HC and crossover and to be honest i personally prefer the first one.

Well, I consider Anarchophobia a thrash classic, with some brilliant Bay Area INSPIRED riffs eg. on Death Of The King, Mad Society, Universal Church ... . A winner for sure. 8)

I love crossover, and I even made a topic about the genre, I was just trying to stay on topic. RDP is in my top 5 brazilian bands.
