That is a good price for Cloven Hoof. I don't like that record much, but your rarely see it sell for < $100 lately.

Others that went for interesting amounts this morning:

I know it's rare, but I thought that was kind of high given the condition; Fair vinyl and a Poor sleeve with handwriting all over it (not autographs).

VG/VG and cleared $300?! Wow, I thought nicer copies than this were bringing about $150.

Granted, I'm bad to underestimate record values lately, so maybe these prices aren't high at all.

Well, not totally insane, but...

Let's all wish him good luck. I exchanged some pms with him on another forum, trying to talk the price down, but no luck.

What would a 'sane' price be? I'm not a huge KD fan so I've never paid much attention to rare KD vinyl

This particular KD vinyl is simply on of the 47 vinyls he is currently selling. Scroll down a bit and you will see the whole list!

As for the KD Spider's Lullaby, he believes it's worth about $400 or 250 Euros. Whichever comes first I guess.

That looks like a good opportunity for someone with more time and motivation than I to buy and resell individually at a profit.

This is pretty insane considering how crappy the record is!
Agreed, though that is actually a fairly typical price for that one. I paid $28 for mine.

"rare as rocking horse poo"

Hardcore Beatles fans are a special category of 'crazy collectors'. Personally I wouldn't give 10 cents for every Beatles record ever made (unless I could instantly trade them for metal records :) )

I prefer their early work. Later albums like Sgt. Peppers did a lot of damage: a lot of bands started making British-sounding music hall psych pop. Yuk!

Barbarian = euuurggh. :D

Anyone have any info on STAINLESS STEEL (Bel)?

I think there's two Stainless Steels from Belgium, one from Brussels and one from Ostend. Is this true?
Humus? Lama? Andreas?

Thanks! The single was a real killer by the way! If anybody knows when it was released (before 1983 it seems, from the link above), let me know. I ripped the single today and will upload it as soon as I've scanned the cover.

Most of the copies available should be like that,I saw one from another seller and they he told me it was warped as well....
I posted in the other thread as well, but the label is selling these for only $6, and mine isn't really warped (just a very slight wobble but nothing major, I've gotten brand new 2009 LPs that are worse).

edit:

oops the quote didn't specify, so I'm talking about Northwinds. The label's site is here:

http://blackandbluerecords.com/

They also are selling the split CD version and tape. All dirt cheap.

And I really like the album, it's so damn weird but in a cool way
