I'd much rather listen to the new While Heaven Wept album than Wyzard or some other crap "cult" metal and I'd much rather discuss a new release on Shadow Kingdom than the matrix number of some rare cd that most certainly sucks anyway.

I considered registering there on several occasions, but it never happened for various reasons. One of them being a certain person's personality on other forums I frequent, another is I got the feeling that forum (and some of its members) were a bit too elitist for my tastes. Perhaps I was wrong, perhaps not.

So I'll leave out the bit about knowing people who want to stay quiet from now on, doesn't change anything, most everyone knows lots of people have problems with him and sheer common sense says there's got to be a pretty valid reason for that. I know Rich likes to place himself in the role of 'fighting for the underground' against the rest of the world, or even against the underground - I'm surprised more people aren't tired of his endless hostility and fabrications - yes in his need to 'prove' others wrong. I doubt Rich really sees any of his behaviour as a problem or has ever thought about that he could improve his attitude in any way.

Hey Daniel....Fair enough to have your point about Miskatonic being slow at times especially in the past year or 2 and fair enough that's your opinion and all but what I don't get is the need to blurt out slander and insults against Rich on a public forum. I've known the guy since '93 and he is always a gent as far as I'm concerned. I think it's better to keep personal gripes to emails rather than airing them here when Rich isn't even here to defend himself....
I thought the forum was a good place and it'll definitely be missed and I guess Rich like the handful of regular posters got fed up of people registering and subsequently posting nothing yet more than happy to rip the mp3s on offer. That's my 2 cents anyways...

There isn't any discussing anything with Rich so what's the point of emails? Oh and as for being annoyed with Rich right now, cos he started insulting me on another forum out of the blue again, and making things up. I'd said to myself I wouldn't get into any pointless arguments with him anymore but never say never.

There's a lot of downloading MP3s here too, without any comments etc. as well, but that's just a small downer, there's plenty of other stuff going to make up for it and the general atmosphere here is much more pleasant, it's not about getting into the mentality of fighting the other untrue scum all the time.

Which is what you seem to be trying to achieve by making snide comments and remarks here?? Also regarding the forum I'm sure you must have at least once thought it was a good place or else you wouldn't have posted as regular as you did.
Hopefully it'll ressurect itself once again to it's days of glory.

I said I felt angry at him again because he started his same old shit on another forum just recently. And by saying 'never say never' I meant it's already happening.

Also said I thought Miskatonic was a great resource.

The discussions on sport were livelier than the ones on metal hah. And I hate sport. A lot of the other posts were of the fuck those other posers we're the best variety, and for a while I was one of those idiots too.

Yes well you also said this which you seem to put more poignantly than anything positive. Anyway Daniel I have no interest in bickering as when I met you in London you seemed an ok guy.
I just think personal slangs should be at least best kept to their respective open forums or even better not at all.

Actually, while this is not necessarily meant in defense of Rich or anything else, the bulk of your posts on various message boards that I've read tended to be just this, especially for newer bands. You talk about what you don't like far more than you talk about what you do like.

There isn't any way for any of us to know whether you are Rich or both are lying at various times, so why bother? I have no more reason to believe that what you post about him is true than I do that what he posts about you is true. The fact that you slag him off at every opportunity, and vice versa, leaves outsiders with very little confidence in the truth of what either say, so it's just a waste of time.
