Metal Labels Index 4.0
I don't remember if it was asked for in the past, I certainly don't have enough time to check post by post, DaN, but is it possible to add to each release an info about innersleeve, lyricsleeve, lyricsheet, info, merch and/or whatever included within the certain release?

The trouble is it would be hard to be consistent with such details for every single label/record coz this info isn't always easy to come by. And frankly it would just be too much work. After all the intention of this section is just to catalogue the labels' output, not include every last bit of trivia about the records and bands themselves. Once you have the name of an album, this info should be found elsewhere.
OK, no problem. I found it necessary to ask. Thanks!DaN wrote:The trouble is it would be hard to be consistent with such details for every single label/record coz this info isn't always easy to come by. Just re-installed Dreamweaver on the new pc at work, so I guess I'll start with some updates now..

Well, if they fill up some "holes" in the list it would be interesting to see. Care to give some examples?
>Cloven Hoof - A Sultan's Ransom CD version was actually not released by
>Heavy Metal Records. It was released by FM Revolver Records with that
>same Heavy Metal Records CAT Number.
I'll just add "co-released by FM Revolver Records" since I think Revolver owned HMR at this time. (Or the other way around..)
>Marshall Law - S/T CD version has the CAT Number of: HMR XD 138
>Slammer - Insanity Addicts EP CD version has the CAT Number of: Heavy XD 66
>Atom Seed - Get In Line CD version has the CAT Number: HMR XD 163
>and has different cover artwork.
>Slammer - Nightmare Scenario CD version has the CAT Number: HMR XD 170
Would this XD-code be the same for all HMR cds? I might just add a note about it in the intro then..
>Dream Death - Journey Into Mystery CD version was released by New
>Renaissance under the same year/CAT Number.
>Blood Feast - Chopping Block Blues was never released on CD by New

>85-9804 Indestroy Indestroy/Senseless Theories CD 1989 This release

I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate the Colossal-discog onto the NRR-page in the best & simplest way + I got some other updates/??'s I need to sort out there. Stay tuned..
>N 0143 London Playa Del Rock LP/CD 1989 Released on CD under the
>name of "D'Priest" with the CAT Number: 4833-2-U
Sure this is an original Noise-pressing?

Agent Steel - Unstoppable Force CAT: 88561-8096-2
Megadeth - Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good! CAT: 88561-8015-2
Yes, that would be correct.DaN wrote:>Marshall Law - S/T CD version has the CAT Number of: HMR XD 138

Positive. This was only ever released on CD once.DaN wrote:>N 0143 London Playa Del Rock LP/CD 1989 Released on CD under the

An addition to the Wishbone Records list:
Tsunami - S/T WBLP 1 (Licensed from Enigma) Gatefold sleeve
Not sure about the year of release (obviously 1983-84).
It has the same (P) 1983 Tsunami Productions text as the original Enigma pressing for what it's worth.
Why is it so many German companies weren't bothering stating the year of pressing/release?

Zuper! Another mystery solved. So other than the gatefold the sleeve art is the same? --> http://www.thecorroseum.com/labels/wishbone.htmlGJ wrote:An addition to the Wishbone Records list:

In order for this project to not grow out of proportions I have a few unwritten rules about what labels to include:hload wrote:what are the limitations to the label thingie? 80's only? vinyls only? thanx in advance.
- It's major focus should be on Metal = at least two 3rds of it's output during a certain period.
- It should have been formed in the 80's.
- Vinyl releases, at least in its initial stage.
- A minimum of 5 releases w/ at least 3 different artists (Metal)
...but I've made a few exceptions as you may have seen. The "at least some vinyl"-rule is the only one set in stone at the moment.
