I'm not too enthusiastic about the German Tyrant actually. The British and the American (I prefer Too Late to Pray to Legions of the Dead - am I the only one?) tyrants are great though. Never heard the NZ Tyrant. What about the Swedish black metal Tyrant?

Tyrant from NZ are the worst, very average band. Tyrant (GER) are decent, Tyrant (UK) GREAT and as for Tyrant (US), well, those who have been here for quite some time know my opinion.
edit: and the Tyrant from scene of a crime, boring as hell

You dislike them?ION BRITTON wrote:well, those who have been here for quite some time know my opinion.
No I know, your user name should be enough to clear up any misconceptions that you're not a huge US Metal fan

@ great_knuthulhu - I love both albums not quite sure which one I love more, still don't own a real copy of Too Late though

UK Tyrant for me! Days At The Farm LP is too brilliant for me to understand. That band could really make the songs roll.
Legions Of The Dead is also excellent album, when talking about heavy albums that one is not to be forgotten. Their logo must also be mentioned, even I could have drawn that one in my school book!
I have never cared so much about the NZL Tyrant, I have the Breaking Out EP in my mp3player but basicly I only listen to those tracks when those are shuffled to playlist...

I haven't heard the other Tyrant from UK but the one from Gloucestershire is great. Hold Back The Lightning is one of my favourite HM singles. German Tyrant is great at best and decent at worst. Mean Machine is the ultimate party metal album. US Tyrant I never got into but since I'm on a US Metal ride I'll revisit LotD and TLtP.

What about Sweden!?!?
There's a TYRANT from Sweden that came out with an incredible album called "Reclaim the Flame" pretty recently. Crusty, Celtic Frosty type stuff, metal as fuck! If you like Chicago's SCEPTER, I fucking guarantee you'll like this. It's on Pulverised Records, and pretty hard to find, I found mine off of eBay for about 15 bucks.
