Eastern European Metal
Eastern European Metal
Name off some eastern european metal bands you like from past to present. I'm always on the hunt for bands from there.
My faves are:
BLOODBATH (Serbia)
KORROZIA METALA (Russia)
ROOT (Czech)
MASTER'S HAMMER (Czech)
NOKTURNAL MORTUM (Ukraine)
PANDEMONIUM (Poland)
IMPERATOR (Poland)
THE STONE (Serbia)
DEMONIAC (Serbia)
SARCASM (Slovenia)
HELLER (Serbia)
... that's all I can think of for now off the top of my head.

I am totally obsessed with stuff from Poland,Russia etc.
I recommend some bands...for start:Thunderway,Turbo,Kat,Credo,First Aid,Rotor,Katedra,Korrozia Metalla,Evil Blood,Annathema,Pokolgep,Voodoo,Ahat and tons more...
The east european bands seem so perfect and more privitive, savage than other from more western countries...

I don't know sometimes poverty, loss of rights, honesty and juvenile true rebelism against a system produces such kind of bands apart from other products.
That's why Western groups will never catch the feeling of these bands.
The kids from California or Usa in the 80's with Cabrios, hollywood and a wealthy environment, will never learn how someone can play like Kat,Turbo for example...or catch the feeling of Credo's or Katedra's.

There are too many bands to list here so I just name bunch among my favourites: Master's Hammer, Root, Turbo, Kat, Pokolgep, Stress, Tormentor, Aria, Magnit and Kruiz.

Surely, parts of California and New York are pretty close to the depravation of Eastern Europe? Crime rates are certainly up there, and even more so in the 80s.Fucking Åmål wrote:HahaAstaroth wrote:AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!Fucking Åmål wrote:The east european bands seem so perfect and more privitive, savage than other from more western countries...
The feeling of most Polish(and not only) thrash should be concluded in that phrase.

Anyway, bands are mostly made up of middle class kids. At least, that's what I've experienced.
I know I ain't doing much,
doing nothing means a lot to me.
