Í managed to listen to it once. Another great. Know nothing - again, though I think I spotted Ozzy twice, first on backing vocals., then as narrator. Could be wrong again. Cheers for the excellent work,'kit.

Excellent show. There were definitely 2 songs I know but I'm drawing a blank and at least 2 others that I absolutely loved, so I'll wait to see what those end being revealed as.

Only had time to listen through the first 30 minutes or so:

2. The Great Electric Quest - Wicked Hands
4. Parish Hall - How Can You Win
6. New American Shame - American Shame

Will be back later.

Well spotted Khnud. I'm sure you'll know the one right after Parish Hall too.

You're correct in the 1st instance Nenad, though not on the latter. I forgot to ask, how did you enjoy the rest of the Madison Avenue material, as featured in the last episode?

Hoping this episode's 'drawing a blank' tracks don't cause you the same levels of annoyance as Whizkey Stik's appearance did recently.

Glad to see you all seem to have enjoyed this one, thanks as always for supporting COTU.

Here's the tracks I.D.'ed so far, with the library choonz flung in too:

02. BALTIK - Leslie Briggs (aka 'Theme from Cult Of The Underdog') (from the 'Baltik' LP (1973))
03.
04. GREAT ELECTRIC QUEST - Wicked Hands (from the 'Chapter II: Of Earth' LP (2018))
05.
06. PARISH HALL - How Can You Win? (from the 'Parish Hall' LP (1970))
07.
08.
09. NEW AMERICAN SHAME - American Shame (from the 'New American Shame' LP (1999))

Sorry, but I'm totally stumped on this one.
I'm also embarrassed to admit I don't know the Swedish speaking group either, but I did find the following:
"In Samantha's Livingroom" by THE GUESS WHO
"Nasty Secretary" by THE HIVES
"Mirror Man" by PHILADELPHIA
"Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" by FREE MUSIC
"Delirious" by TORONTO

Knowing your main area of musical interest I'm sure you'll at least know of that band after Parish Hall. If it's any help, the record has arguably the worst picture sleeve in musical history.
Also, absolutely no need to be "embarrassed to admit I don't know the Swedish speaking group". As far as i'm aware the band weren't exactly a big name even in their home country.
Well done on identifying those others, they're all correct bar 'Nasty Secretary', which is the right title, but this isn't by The Hives, though they may perhaps have covered it?
Freshly updated tracklist in next post.

Here's the songs identified so far, sterling work from Khnud.
I reckon tbieri might know some of the 10 remaining mystery tracks if he's around.

01. NEIL RICHARDSON (aka Oscar Brandenburg) - Approaching Menace (from the Various Artists 'Kpm 1000 Series: Dramatic Background' compilation LP (1970))
07. THE SUSPECTS - Want You (from the 'No Biggie' Mini LP (1982))
08.
09. NEW AMERICAN SHAME - American Shame (from the 'New American Shame' LP (1999))
10.
11. ROLAND KOVAĆ - Jonathan (from the 'Jonathan' OST (1970))
12. THE GUESS WHO - Samantha's Living Room (from the 'Artificial Paradise' LP (1973))
13. JOY RYDER + AVIS DAVIS - Nasty Secretary (from the 'No More Nukes' 7" (1979))
14. PHILADELPHIA - Mirror Man (from the 'Search And Destroy' LP (1985))
15.
16. BIRMINGHAM FREE MUSIC (feat. OZZY OSBOURNE) - Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood (from the 'Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood' 7" (1975))
17. TORONTO - Delirious (from the 'Lookin' For Trouble' LP (1980))
18.
19.
20.
21.

A little trivia re the Free Music track; as well as being Ozzy's 1st vinyl appearance outside of Sabbath, that's Dave Ball on guitar who played alongside Cozy Powell in Bedlam, Big Bertha & Ace Kefford Stand and also replaced Robin Trower in Procol Harum. The drummer was Terry Cox from Pentangle, who was also a top session player appearing on records by Elton John, David Bowie etc.
The guy behind the record, Chris Sedgwick, (former frontman with The Hinge, The Gang & a solo artist), was a friend of Ozzy's from their days of playing the clubs, and everyone involved appeared uncredited as they were all under contract to their various different labels.
Funnily enough, Tony Iommi's first guest appearance outside of Sabbath was also alongside a former Procol Harum member, Bobby Harrison. Tony played guitar on two tracks on Harrisons 'Funkist' solo LP, also released in 1975.
Given that that's what the others were up to, is there a previously unknown '75 record in a vault somewhere where Geezer & Bill play with the rest of Procol?

Yes, I should have known (because that sure as hell didn't sound like Howlin' Pelle Almqvist on vocals), but I didn't have time to double check. It should be by JOY RYDER then.

Is it HOLIDAY SHARK?
I'll have to check this one more carefully when I get home from work.

The song after Parish Hall is definitely one I know, and know well. With your hint of worst picture Sleeve my mind immediately went to Sashay, but it isn't them.

Next thought was instantly Suspects. The track is Want you off the "No Biggie" 12" Ep 1982

We have a winner! Well deduced Rob.
I knew you'd know it, if you know what i mean. :D
Sashay & Holiday Shark were both great calls for worst sleeve ever too, but The Suspects just edge it for me.

Yup! Or, to give 'em their full title, Joy Ryder + Avis Davis.
Previous post now updated with your correct answers, just 9 left to get.
You may wish to give the closing track closer attention as i'd wager both of you have that LP sitting in your collections.

The successful unearthing of The Suspects definitely requires a photo response

Also, the Philadelphia identification, but not by me, is really annoying. Anyone noticing a trend, my ye-olde-I-can't-remember-jack-shit-syndrome?

And, yeah, the last track seems vaguely familiar, I'm probably going to be further annoyed when it is revealed

If there isn't already a 'worst cover art' thread on the forum there ought to be, though that pic would be hard to beat. So much hideousness in one place.
Also, does anyone else find themselves reading the Holiday Shark logo as 'Holiday Snark'? :D
