Some CHRISTIAN MISTRESS would be mandatory for Volume 2 , but someone else must compile it this time.

Cor, don't remember selecting anything for this one. Was it the Diawled song? Ace to see this re-upped.

I don't remember what you voted for Ernest, it was a very long time ago.
2008 in fact, () where does the time go?
I guess the original thread is still here somewhere if you really need to know.
The comp hangs together really well considering it was such a cumulative effort, i hadn't heard it for quite a while but i gave it a listen last night and enjoyed it a lot.
Now that Sirens, The Compilation Companions Vols 1-3, and Incredibly Strange Metal are all available to d/l again, is that the complete Corroseum collection, or were there any others made over the years?

I downloaded it, perhaps again, I cannot find older file if I dld it before.

So many thanks for this one as well. :)

Also searched for the original thread, but our searcher is so unreliable it hurts. May not be in P-N.

As for the question, I don't remember, except a few compis made for guessing, for example the one from last year which also shew DaN's last activity here.

 :(

Thanks, sagrotan. I wouldn't come to idea anyway. It seems I didn't care much back then. Now that I'm listening to it, it's actually a vast improvement.

Thanks for turning up those original threads sagrotan, it was an interesting waltz down memory lane.
The whole thing seems to have come together quite organically.

I dare say these are the only "official" ones.

I do remember Helm did demometal compilation: http://www.thecorroseum.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=1975.

Could that count in a way? Probably not, but it was very sympathetic effort.

I don't think so, good as it was, it was just one person's work, (unlike CCC vol 3 which i consider 'official' as it came out of a collaboarative project, even if Kier alone selected the final tracklist).
I really like Helm's cover design for that comp that he did, (and the 'Sirens...' art), he's a very talented artist.

Thank you to everyone for all these brilliant compilations, which all introduced me/reminded me of some killer stuff. I came here first to discover great obscure music and all the compilations have done the trick no end. I wish I could repay more, but my knowledge pales into comparison against most here!

I totally agree Pestkrieg, the comps are a great way to hear a lot of unfamiliar material and it's a great introduction to, and example of, what the forum is all about.
We all learn a lot from visiting here, every last one of us, it's part of what makes it such a great forum.
