US METAL by state

Hello!

I just found a list I was working on a long time ago. A list of US METAL bands by state!!!!
Certainly there are errors and omissions! The paradox is that there will always be bands left out! It is imposible to list all US METAL bands, even if you deceided to exclude all them who didn't record a LP.

I want you to help me enlarge the list as much as we can and fill in the gaps! I also want you to help me start making the CALIFORNIA state list, that is about 1/3 of all US METAL bands. I post no list for california , let's make it from the begining!

I think it is quite interesting, hope you find it too!!!

Under massachusetts you have Meliah Rage and Knightmare listed, but these bands were based in New Hampshire.

Yes I know there's more but I can't name them off the top of my head, and I believe every state has a metal scene so it can get difficult to list so many bands by state.

Knightmare yes, but I don't know why you would say Meliah Rage weren't from Massachusetts.

I think this thread has some interesting potential but it needs a bit more direction. Only bands with vinyl releases? What years? How does one define "US metal" anyway?

No just vinyl bands for me!
US metal can only be subjectively defined! Find your definition and you will find the years!
Need to fix the lists, will do it when forum is out of that server trouble!

I'm sorry, are you saying "not just vinyl bands" or "no, just vinyl bands"? And would that include a band who only released one song on a vinyl compilation?
