Should I be aware of a bootleg with the same identical matrix# or the Atom-H boot has a completely different one?

Thanks.

This is the correct matrix of the original. There is also a barcode on the matrix, just like on most DADC CDs from that time.

I'm surprised it took so long for someone to make this record and then they do it in a 50 copy edition. Seriously nuts. Maybe it will motivate an official version?

Hope somebody'll do an official version. I'd definitely buy that. A friend was really close to buying an original but balked at the $1000 (I think it was) asking price.
I know I ain't doing much,
doing nothing means a lot to me.

The logic dictates they probably made 300-500 and therefore will have 6-10 batches of 50 copies to sell. It's an old bootleg trick.

Seller is an occasional poster on this board.

Seems he knows how to do it...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0665036057
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0660588664

That's pretty much his costs back in three auctions. And that's even considering he's paying 'market price' for his pressing. The amount of ultra-limited bootlegs indicates that he either lies about pressing numbers, or has access to a pressing plant.

It costs a bit more to press vinyl these days, although in South America prices could be different.

Maybe he did made only 50 copies on black vinyl. And a month or two later all of a sudden there appears to be another 50 in yellow/red/green/splatter/marbled vinyl or something like that.

Nice cover art though, almost leads me into tempation.

I have noticed a few CD's, which are quite rare nowadays are meanwhile floating the market again, some Mausoleum Classix like Steelover/ Ace Lane/ Atlain/ Beast etc. which seem to be available again - at least some sellers have them in their lists for prices of around EUR 19,99. I have also seen Brainfever - Capture The Night, which was listed on Ebay some more times through the same seller. So what is this? Bootlegs or did someone find an overstock in some cellar? Regarding Brainfever: I am not taliing about the Sonic Age reissue which sounds VERY bad. I would be interested in an original Mausoleum Classix CD of this album but the situation seems to be quite unclear.

Another CD which seems to be available again is Damiens "Angel Juice". I remember I bought the CD at Ebay for a lot of bucks just to see myself disappointed, since the music did not have much in common with the first two albums. However, meanwhile I see it in some sellers lists quite often. So what happened here? Overstock? Bootleg?

It's sad that you can't relly be sure nowadays what to get. But maybe someone here can clear the whole thing up a bit.

HMM.

There's a Damien boot with "angel juice" as matrix. An American collector was selling it & unfortunately I didn't ask so...
