Re: German-compilation-tracks compilation (white label test pressing pre-release)
thankx a ton Dan for your time and effort to bring to light some real obscurities like Brainhammer & Avalon for example which really kicks serious ass! Can't wait for more obscure steel... If you are interested in unknown Russian steel, check my compilations shared on the Metal Rarities forum! ...

Re:
the evil zone demo..pure old manowar worship and a voice that rivals early Eric Adams That's a fucking great demo, but the sound quality is the worst possible, even for demo standards. Makes the audition a torture. Does anyone have a copy of this that they could upload? It'd be much appreciated - s...

Re: Hungarian metal - a recommendation thread
The standout for me so far is Masodik Alapitvany. I love that track too - pure awesome! ..but I'd like to issue a warning: the rest of their LP varies from melodic HR to pop-rock. There's one more heavy tune, but it's an instrumental. It still has its charm but as a whole it's mostly For Hungarian ...

Re: TEGEN HART, unsung ItaliDoom-Masters
Thanks for the recommendations! Both Райский Ад and Stonefield are very interesting, and new to me.
I can't see that Stonefield's album covers would have helped them to get recognition!

Been listening to this album loads lately. Can anyone recommend anything which has a similarly dreamy atmosphere?

Re: Shining Blade demos and lp on vinyl.
Didn't buy the album reissue, as I'm not so keen on it, but the sound on the demo lp is great. Lovely release, other than a fairly hideous colour vinyl.

I've recently found a live recording of Shining Blade, I haven't had the time to listen to it yet. If the sound quality is good, I'll upload it later on. Don't suppose there's any chance of this being uploaded, if it was any good sound-wise? Grabbed the demos vinyl at KIT and was reminded of just h...

One obscure gem to rule them all...
Reading through some of the reviews on the site, I came across the following lines in the Danger Zone review... 'Imagine being this average, ignorant Metalhead who can't for 1 second understand why anyone would spend any time or money looking for rare and obscure old metal vinyls, when it's so much ...
