Re: Flynn Records releases...

I have some of their releases and they do a really good job! And some very nice ones as you said, Captain Kill, Sámán, Gypsy Rose, Black Ghost, Mantus just to name a few that I really enjoyed! Talking about sound quality, it's really good and makes me think they have at least got it from someone rel...

Re: Metal festival Recommendations

Yop, Hellfest is/was truly a crazy fest, and is really a thing you have to do if you want both to see a tons of bands and having the feeling of being at Disney Land. Negative side is that it became insanely expensive and everything is sold out as soon as tickets are put for sale. It’s been 8 years ...

Re: Metal festival Recommendations

Thanks for the recommendations! Alongside those you mentioned, I suggest the following. Apologies if any fall outside of the time you're here, but I suppose might be useful to others in the thread or if you extend your stay! Metal Magic (Denmark) Thrash Nightmare (Czechia) Old Grave (Romania) Up The...

Re: STORMSPELL new releases

Good news!
Any chance of rerelease the Fatal Violence CD/DVD as well?

This is a collection of previously unreleased tunes: live and rehearsal recordings plus several rarities to celebrate the memory of late Doug Trevisan.

Re: Most out of place record find?

A couple of years ago, maybe 2019 I was in my car coming back from the market and stopped at the traffic light. Looked to the other side of the street and there was a guy selling some LPs in an empty shop space, just him, lots of varied records on the floor and some sound system to play them. Saw An...

From what I've been told that's pretty much why an official reissue of the Berserks lp is highly unlikely to ever see the light of day... :(
That Berserks LP is something that really deserves a reissue. Same for AES or Danger Zone Victim of time!

Re: What are your issues with "NWOTHM"?

Just out of curiosity, have you seen all these three bands live recently? I totally get the appeal of seeing Cloven Hoof because of their classic material, but it's not 1989 anymore. Visigoth and Eternal Champion both do perform very well and I think it's very well deserved that they have become so...

Re: What are your issues with "NWOTHM"?

I don't listen too many of the so called NWOTHM bands, simply because I didn't liked what I've listened at all. Generic sound, with bad singers, uninspired compositions, drinking from the same fountain and just beign a mere copy of some 80s band. But I also think this whole movement is a kind of ren...

Re: Heavy Metal from Argentina

This situation is more or less what I expected. I'm just hoping & praying that some day, some dealer will realize that there's a way to really make some money out of these records: BY ACTUALLY SELLING THEM. I've never been huge on the local scene 'cause the overall Argie sound is not really my ...

Re: Belgian GOOD Metal :)

We can't have a " Belgian Crap Metal "-thread and no Good counter-part - that'd be raaaaaayyysist..... :( I have always considered Belgian 80's Steel to have a very high "average score", at least as far as LPs and Minis go (the infamous "Belgian Crap" is mostly resorte...
