Now, here’s an odd entry that very much straddles the line regarding what kind of material ought to be included in this archive or not. In fact, the main argument for the inclusion of PAGAN CELTIC WISDOM in the HSA is the potential possibility to gain some further insight into the makings of this “band”/project: whether or not it was even related to the Greek metal scene at all and what might have been the purpose of its creation in the first place.
Presumably authored by members of a previously unknown organization referred to as the “Pagangram Inner Circle”, PAGAN CELTIC WISDOM appears sometime in the 1990s or perhaps even the early 2000s. Their only known release was a self-titled tape, containing traditional “Celtic” folk music, which – judging by the authentic character of the songs – actually seems to have been capped from an authentic source rather than composed and performed by P.C.W. themselves. Please correct me if I’m wrong on this account though. Either way, the music has nothing to do with Metal really, but one would have to assume there was some form of connection to the Hellenic Metal scene since the tape – which also includes some hand-written notes in Greek language – was deemed as relevant enough to be sent to the Greek Metal Invader magazine as a promotional item.
