EMBEDDED was an Athenian Death Metal band, founded in summer 1998 by the duo Comar (vocals, guitars) and Damnien Desmodus (drums), who also founded the instrumental Dark/Progressive Metal act CRUENTUS around the same time. Seemingly working fast, the EMBEDDED recorded their first, self-titled song (later reworked as the title-track for their first demo) later the same summer. A few months later, the lineup was extended to include the aforementioned Comar (vocals, guitars) and Damnien Desmodus (guitars) along with Rohirrim (bass - CRUENTUS) and Ichor (drums).

With the lineup completed, EMBEDDED performed at least three concerts during 1999 and then recorded their one (and only?) demo tape “A Death Festival” in Studio Effect at the end of the same year. Unfortunately, this demo recorded has evaded us so far, so in case you are in possession of it you are of course free to contact us.

The last sign of life from EMBEDDED is a mention on their old website that they were searching for a label to publish their material. Comar, Damnien Desmodus and Rohirrim continued to record at least one demo with CRUENTUS in 2000.
