DIMENTIA (not to be confused with townmate Death/Thrashers DEMENTIA) was an early-1990s Thrash/Death act from the Greek capital, made up of Alexis (vocals), Vangelis (guitars), Dimitris (guitars), Feudarchis (bass) and Panagiotis (drums). It’s currently unclear if this was the original member configuration, but we do know that this lineup (active since June 1990) was the one featured on the band’s sole known demo tape “Death’s Illusionss” [sic] (1991). A few gigs during were also done during this time period, one being with EPIDEMIC at AN Club (Athens).

Musically, DIMENTIA wanders in the footsteps of giants such as SLAYER, DEATH and last but not least SEPULTURA. At the time of release, “Death’s Illussions” receieved fair reviews, which praised the musicality and general technical abilities of the band, although with reservations for the somewhat impersonal sound.
