Daylight Dreamer

Very obscure Heavy Metal group from Heraklion (Crete), including in the ranks Spyros Alexakis (vocals, keyboards), Nikos Katsarakis (guitars), George “Vulture” (drums) and joining on session bass Spyros Bandouvakis of fellow Cretan metallers 12 RICHTER. DAYLIGHT DREAMER recorded at least one demo tape entitled “Lost in a Dream” (1991), containing five compositions which – according to a review in Power Metal Zine – featured slow-paced and keyboard-backed Heavy Metal with certain Epic elements. One of their songs made it onto Metal Magic Zine’s compilation volume I (1992), a niece piece of work that also included other Cretan bands of the times.
