It's a weird thing, i wouldn't have thought i'd be interested in lego recreations of classic album covers at all until i saw them. Strangely impressive.

As a trve old skool lego-fan, I consider those "nu-lego" pieces cheating :evil:
Srsly, where the hell would you even find those pieces to begin with?

Bringing my Voivod-plate to the gig this wednesday, for (hopefully) a proper Away-signature. Picture-proof (again, hopefully) to come.

Edit: I was just told that this Stockholm gig we're going to next week is taking place on Snake's 60'th birthday(!)
So, obviously...

Edit #2;
59th birthday apparently, if Wiki is to be believed over radom freind's miscalculations. Oh well, it's not likely I'm gonna catch them live exactly 1 year from now so..

"nu-lego" :lol: :lol: :lol:
Only Sticklebricks are tr00 anyway. :D
You might try the nearest record shop to the venue if you're looking to bump into Away. I had a brief encounter with him in the much-missed Tower Records in Glasgow before a VoiVod show in the '90's. My friend & i spotted him looking at CDs & ambled over to say hi, but then discovered that he was going through the 'V' section, (obviously checking to make sure the record label were doing their job by ensuring VoiVod product was in stock for the tour,) and just as we realised this, he looked up and seemed embarrased or flustered that we'd 'caught' him looking for his own records and it instantly got weirdly awkward. We mumbled something like 'have a great show' & he muttered a brief thanks before we shuffled off in opposite directions. 'Awks' as the kids say. :lol:
'Awkward encounters with the stars' might make a good topic for a thread actually. I've had quite a few over the years & i bet i'm not alone.

Celebrating NWN's recent Magnit/Credo reissues, I was once again inspired...

Spring inspirations

...and one of those where you need to squint your eyes and take a few steps away from your screen to really appreciate the work:

"Ein Lob" from my side as well. I like how it gives away the impression of curves of the logo, although there aren't any. + I haven't listen to this since 2009. Time to revisit!
