NECROTION 7"

Post by The Sentinel »

I Have a 7" from the death metal band NECROTION named Prelude To Apocalypse. On which speed level must this be played: 33,3 or 45. 33,3 is too slow and 45 is too fast imo, so I have no clue. Does someone else know the right rotation speed?

45 is the usual rpm speed for 7inchers. Why do you think it's too fast?

I have some 7"s with 33,3 rotation speed, this one is confusing, on both speed levels it sounds ok. On 33,3 it sounds as doom/death with sorrowful vocals, at 45 however it sounds like a grinding death band with a fitting shrieking vox.

Superb. You've got two 7-inchers for the price of one :D

Check the time durations given on Metal Archives:
1. Intro 00:20
2. Unimmaculate Conception 03:31
3. Birth of the Unholy Lamb 04:11

I got to get this 7inch myself. Or, erhm, Sten, any chance to upload "both" versions? :)

Wow, NECROTION! That is a blast from the past. Another 7" I missed out on from the glory days

I have their "Fallen Salvation" Demo at home. Might have to dig it out and give it a listen
