Infernal Death (UK) demo #2. 1988

Infernal Death were a British Thrash metal band from Cambridgeshire that started in 1987 & lasted till early 1989, recording 2 demos in that short time. Here's their 2nd demo called "Clinic 1a" & was released in 1988. They were basically one of the hundreds of Meat & potatoes speed/thrash metal bands that formed around that time. Mainly influenced by early Metallica & early Anthrax, they could certainly play, but you've heard it all before & this was just another example of a band being 4-5 years too late for this kind of style. But as they are pretty obscure, i thought i'd rip this tape anyway. I've also restored & mastered it as the tape was 28 years old & suffered from some loss of quality & volume. If UK thrash is your thing, you might wanna check this out, albeit for it's rarity. 6 tracks, 26 minutes.

Thanks so much for this. I never had the chance to hear this demo until now. Really good late 80's thrash metal.

Avenger : did you lost on the HD crash the 1st demo - or you still have it ?
Would like to see if the band evoluted from demo to demo (or not - ? )...

I deleted it a while ago. I only keep rips that are above average unfortunately. No point storing what I’ll probably only ever listen to once.
