NO CLASS - Demo 1984 (Adelaide, SA, Aus)

Post by Nicko McBuff »

Here's a hard and gutsy, fast and mean, tough youthful metal band from Adelaide 1984.

No further studio or releases from this band that I know of. I have a VHS rip of one of their gigs where they perform these tunes between covering faster tunes of the day, ie Accept, Warlock etc.

Lineup:
Garry Thomas Bass
Andrew Lemmon Drums
Michael Curren Guitars
Martin Sain Guitars
Craig Fountaine Vocals

Side 1:
1. Lightning Never Strikes Twice
2. Bad Blood
Side 2:
3. Born To Raise Hell

"All music writtin by NO CLASS. All lyrics writtin by Craig Fountaine except Born to raise hell which is writtin by Fountaine/Wrathchild."

".NO CLASS KILLS."

"NO CLASS DEMO 1984 - PLAY LOUD! Copyright 1984."

Total demo-lition here. Enjoy

Does it happen that you have any demo of Escape from the Adelaide area as well?

Yes. However I was disappointed when I heard it. It is not the later Strike Back -still hunting for this gem- session on youtube. It is an earlier one, like as if they were just starting out as kids and is very ordinary.

But I can upload it for you to judge yourself.

The title of this Demo is "Lightning Never Strikes Twice" :

Do you have more killer aussie Demos like this one ?

for example LOTUS, STALLION, WOLF, KNIGHT, OXEN, TABU, SIREN, GOLIATH, LANZEND, DARKLOAD

this portuguese that isn't able to get the olde metal from your side of the world would gladly listen any of these (even on mp3) on the comfort of his couch.......

Cheers for any help.

Nice, where did you find the cover?

LOTUS never did a demo.

Yes, please upload for me (pm box) or for us all WOLF (a chick singing right ? The same that went later to Intruder if i'm now wrong) and KNIGHT.

I know the bands i refered you existed and recorded demos. Stallion their style was between Bad Company and NWOBHM. It's what i can tell you for now. Other ones i'm looking for is SLYDER (Tyrant side project around 1989) REAPER (Sydney band active around 1987 that live used to play a cover of the germans Steeler - but they might not had the time to record a demo before disbanded). OUTLANDS that recorded a demo called "Take It Down". I think their thing was melodic-metal.
