Agree on the Drakkar 7" tho' - also great music as I remember it. Need it for The Vault for sure..

Speaking of the Japanese Metal scene, I think "Headlight No. 1" had a really cool style when it comes to black and white 7" sleeves. He's the guy who drew most of the Gorgon sleeves of course, outside of his band Headlight.

He did all the sleeves for this label, don't really know or care for most the bands here (in the case of Reverend Bizarre, just not my thing; would rather listen to early 80s Doom/"Proto-Doom" stuff) but they all have that very honest bored-in-class DIY artstyle like you'd see on a lot of early 80s independent single releases.
