Most of my favorites from '82 are obvious ones that should be on everyone's list (Iron Maiden, Heavy Load, Manowar, Mercyful Fate). Other than those, I like Behemoth - Death Wings and Crystal Pride - Silverhawk.

What it all boils down is to for every year is a top 5, so I shrunk my list to this:
