many of you may know the behavior of death/black/thrash metal maniac and hard rock maniac is different. when any rare CD is reissued, the original cd of death/black/thrash metal is more wanted and sometimes the price get more higher. but when any rare CD of hard rock is reissued, the price of original cd is down. it seems death/black/thrash collectors are interested in collecting itself than listening, and hard rock lovers are satisfied if he can listen the music.

Ha ha ... here's the funny part: A friend of mine bought that CD w/ said matrix at Earthshaker 2005 festival from a seller who had tons of 80s albums, but everything new & still sealed, and everything I brought back then turned out to be a bootleg, some were better, some worseperishinflames wrote:Yes.sovdat wrote:@ Apocalypse s/t : is the matrix code

So what I am wondering is - was there really the original Out of Tune press, or does it just exist as a bootleg (made in 2000+ or so) that was made believe to be original???

I highly doubt it. I don't have the CD anymore but I remember there was no IFPI code and it looked identical to the Stone CDs that were for sure pressed in Switzerland in 1989 (also with matrix ICM, the cat # and strings of seemingly random numbers). It might not be from 1988, but it is certainly not from the 2000s.sovdat wrote:So what I am wondering is - was there really the original Out of Tune press, or does it just exist as a bootleg (made in 2000+ or so) that was made believe to be original???
Take a look at the matrix

it definetely looks like an original pressing.
