Anyone done business with a John Redfern from the UK? minge-eater on discogs.

Ripped me off last summer. Bought and paid for an original but sent me a new pressing of Amorphis - Tales from the thousand lakes by mistake (probaby never had the original). I sent it back and he was gonna send me the original I had paid for. Never showed up. Claims he has sent it but is very a obvious liar. Haven´t really bothered about this since last summer but I do need my revenge.

Dealt with John multiple times without problems and met him once when I was in the UK. Also never heard any other complaints about him. Might want to try contacting him via Facebook?

he used to do shill-bidding using at least 3 different ids. one is momojirou, his friend, and the other is devilsronde, momojirou's another id, and the third is norzy, drgoon_jpn's another id.

but his shill-bidding is not serious as much as japanrarehunter and kreator72 are doing. for example, here is one item deserve $100. then japanrarehunter do shill-bidding for $119.99, but drgoon_jpn do shill-bidding for $89.99.

you know the difference. japanrarehunter want to sell his item for more than normal price (very greedy person), but drgoon_jpn doesn't want to sell his item for cheap.

Better beware of this guy, he's doing his evil deed since months now. He's selling always the same records (with same pictures), then only accepts payment via bank transfer. If you do this, you're money is gone. He'll close his account and opens a new one, starting from new. The low feedback he has was done all by the same guy (another nick of him, each time the same guy).
So better think twice if buying from new users that only accept bank transfer.

I'm not sure why he keeps changing his username but that appears to be the first time he's sold an Entropy CD.

Feedback is 100% positive.

If he is changing his userid that often, clearly selling fakes.

Definitely dishonest or selling bootlegs.

When you change your username on ebay your old feedback stays with it.

If he was selling fake CD's then he would for sure have negative feedback especially for the price a lot of the stuff he's listed goes for.

The CD in question is also legit so I'm having a hard time correlating the name changes with "selling bootlegs".

It's just weird, thats all. There are no bootlegs of most of the stuff he sells, so that wasn't really my suspicion. Rather I suspected stuff like listing things and taking off, then listing again, shill bidding, listing just to see how much it gets, etc... we already had a gentelman from the UK doing that in the past.

Those are good points and I agree with all of that. However, something is still very suspicious
of a person changing their userid every few months.

I still wouldn't trust him personally.

Yet another Ryür related account has surfaced on ebay, called phynethanquz1. Previously called salvatordelleoian_0.
