List of Labels Reissuing 80s-90s Metal

Post by ION BRITTON »

Links to labels who are focusing/specializing in reissues of old (80s - 90s) and, usually, obscure metal. Check 'em to see if something you want to upload has already been reissued. Feel free to add any link that might help.

Can you add the link of the distro for south-american releases ? You've posted it a few months ago. It's rather helpful, but I can't find it anymore ...

Here's a couple more that aren't on the list:

www.battlecryrecords.de
www.sentinelsteel.com
www.highvaultage.de

EDIT: It appears that High Vaultage no longer has a website or at least it has changed and I'm not able to find it with a google search. I hope that the company hasn't gone out of business because that was one kick ass label, although that would explain the lack of releases lately...

Old Metal (run by King Fowley). I don't think he has a web site, does he?

No, and a lot of his releases are bootlegs, so, I don't think that his label should be included here.

Let's remove Sonic Age and Karthago too then.

Hmm, I've always had my doubts about the Sonic Age label, but as for Karthago, I thought that Battle Cry purchased the rights to the entire GAMA back catalogue and licensed out half if it to Karthago to re-issue?

First releases by KingF were mostly bootlegs or semi-official but I heard things have changed.

Well, both labels are dubious, but they've also released legit things.

...belongs here too in my view. They`re maybe focused more on early 90s` death but they have also released a few CDs with Polish thrash from the 80s.

I've seen this label mentioned once or twice around the net.

Nothing special in my opinion.

*Yawn*
