I think Heart were pretty damn cool in the 70's it's their 80's stuff that gives them the bad rep.

I like it all!
Their Passionworks album from 1983 is one of my favourites!
Opening track "How Can I Refuse" is super heavy...

There is plenty of heavy (metal) Heart to explore

on a serious note can i recommend 2 hymns for vol2:
twisted tower dire-beyond the gates from their second demo, some of the most triumphant epic metal ever not sang by a manand killerhawk-the king of mordor,as already suggested
I'll second that. The early TTD demos are fantastic and that song may well be the best, though I rate the other songs at more or less the same level.

I hope for the release of volume 2 as well. Thanks again for that great comp.

HELL YES! The TTD track is fantastic. An orgy of killer riffs!

I'm 3/4 of the way through this comp & there's been no weak tracks yet. Not even "Heavy Metal Virgin"! Thanks once again to the man with the big feet!

OK, my "A must"-list for Vol. II:

MOOTTORILINNUT - Metallinen Saatenkari (schmelling..)
MALIBU BARBI - When Lightning Strikes
MALISHA - can't really make up my mind about which track to pick. Maybe 'What I Believe'? Suggestions welcomed.
DUB'L 1 - Voron Viking
SPRUT - Master Snov
ORIGINAL SIN - CONJURATION OF THE WATCHER damnit!!
