THE KRIXHJÄLTERS - Evilution CD '89
Fekkin 'ell I almost forgot how much I love this album!

This is pre-OMNITRON - not quite as experimental as "Masterpeace" so if you had a hard time stomaching that one you should still give "Evilution" a chance. Power/TechnoThrash never got this catchy again. Bucketsfull of riveting riffing (imagine how many riffs you'll fit in a bucket!), haunting & original vocal melodies and a hefty Metallica/Megadeth-influence that actually WORKS. Fave track: "i", one of the CD bonus tracks, not to be confused with the capital letter "I"-track. Beware of goosebumps!

Thanks Dan. Need to come over again... thanks to my new job I was now 3 times already in Sweden during the past 8 months, but neither in Sthlm nor GBG, so no record-hunting...
By the way: Metal Archives shows this:

Is this a demo-release of The Krixhjälters or a real 7"/12" ?

That's their debut MLP. Pretty crummy Punk/Crossover unfortunately. You can listen to one of the tracks here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kxyv1K_m3Y

I definitely agree on the VARVAR part, they have that desperate, depressive thrash touch... but on OBLACHNYJ KRAJ I am not as sure. Will be investigated further
Fun records
