Weird. Are you sure? All shaped Azra/IW promos I've seen before have been 12" discs with 7" grooves pressed on them, and then the outer blank area sawed into various shapes. Taking full LPs and just cutting right through the grooves sounds a bit too primitive even for Azra. If you have these, check again coz I'd at least like to know some titles and serials to complete the list.

From Roman's old Azra-list:tbieri wrote:IRON WORKS

Maybe just a typo. I guess I'll go with your eye-witness account. Any indication which year this was released? And does it have an official title?
Out of curiosity, does the recording differ much from the "Freedom's Rise" session? Worth an upload maybe?

I've seen this referred to as both IW 1022 and IW 1033 on the internet. I just went with IW 1022 coz it came after the Hans Naughty LP and kinda made more sense. Does the 2 versions you have look exactly the same otherwise, apart from the serial/matrix?tbieri wrote:IRON WORKS
IW 1033 is HANS NAUGHTY - Tears in the Night Shape !
Same like IW 1022 !
I have 2 of this shape ! One has no label and no indication of a Labelnumber.
The second has a Label with IW 1033 on it !
Are shure for IW 1022 ???

This curiosity should definitely be added so scan away.Nightlock wrote:Don't know if this is relevant but the test pressing on clear vinyl for Ample Destruction was originally pressed under the title "License to Kill" missing the track "The Watching" I own this and could possibly get a scan if need be. "IW-1001-A"
Like i've mentionned one has a label sticker with the number, the other has not !DaN wrote:I've seen this referred to as both IW 1022 and IW 1033 on the internet. The one with the sticker has also a small sticker with "Collectors Edition" on the plastic wrap.
Both come with a photo of the band and an insert.
NIGHTLOCK ! If you don't want to do this, i've already scanned it !Nightlock wrote:Don't know if this is relevant but the test pressing on clear vinyl for Ample Destruction was originally pressed under the title "License to Kill" missing the track "The Watching" I own this and could possibly get a scan if need be. LET ME KNOW ! I'll upluad then !
Mine is in Black Vinyl and the Label is Silver.
The A is only the Side of the record ! On the other side it's B !
The Matrix-Nubers are very hard to read ! Because of the Pictures !DaN wrote:From Roman's old Azra-list:tbieri wrote:IRON WORKS

I controlled again and i was wrong !
It's IW-1006B and IW-1006A on the other side ! So it has the same number like Freedons Rise LP !
Usually it's called PRODIGY, probably because PRODIGY is in BIG Capitals on the Track List ! Look the Scan !
It was recorded in 1985, but if you read the text on the insert you could think it was release later ! Rumours says 1988 !
Heres the other side :
As you have seen PRODIGY is on the Tracklist, but it's not on the Vinyl !DaN wrote:From Roman's old Azra-list:tbieri wrote:IRON WORKS

So PRODIGY is the Title to me !
NO significant differencies of the Sound to me !
The EP sounds slightly better to me, but i think it's only because my Freedoms Rise LP is very, very used !

DaN, I just noticed that you decided to tackle the Dave Richards vinyl chaos discography. I will look through my collection but I cannot do it now due to some home construction and it will be a real pain for me to do this and deal with other headaches, so I have to wait. Looks like you have a lot of help in the meantime.
concerning Liege Lord Demo-tracks 12", I ripped my test pressing of this and put it on thrashmageddon, you should listen to it, it does sound different than the lp versions and is a different recording. I tried to license it from the band but they had zero interest.
