OK, one last long promised upload before nappy..

This is Swedsters HIGH LEVEL's very rare debut demo from '82, an all-in-all very solid Heavy Load-style Olde Metal offering. And then there's this song.. This song that should be the proclaimed the Anthem Of Swedish Heavy Metal!

(..and if you recognise the name this is indeed the same HIGH LEVEL who featured a track on Ebony Rec's "Metal Warriors" comp in '83.)

Thanks so much!
While I really like the Black Hole demo a lot this might be the real treat for me.
Every song on here is awesome but you couldn't be more correct about "let us march with the wolves"
It fucking rules without question.

The sound quality of my copies is pretty crappy. I've been hoping that someone would track down better ones, but it's been a while now. Gotta give them another listen before I decide this is worth spreading..

I have two different rips of Dark Tyrant, the first one is very crappy and hardly listenable, the other one sounds better but not much of an improvement generally. I'll recheck and see what can be done.

No SV relation that I know of. And I have no clue from which town they came. Mordred?

I've more demos with these guys and I'll upload them as soon as I think you've finished digesting this one

I believe that High Level was from Lund - the very south of Sweden. I think it says so on the back cover of Metal Warriors. Correct me if I'm wrong...

Absolutely great stuff!

Jay Robohn told me that High Level is pre-Syron Vanes, and that he still has a copy of a letter from Rix Volin that says "High level is no more, we are now Syron Vanes!". He also has 3 High level demo tapes but he never ripped them.

I'm quite sure I would have heard of them if they were, since I've been living in this town for 30 years. Maybe they were so obscure they went below my radar...
