Yeah, I think so too. I was sure Peter would get a higher price for it, but maybe it is too obscure.

LOL @ daniel

Yes, X-IT has sold much cheaper on ebay in the past few months.

I have not followed this record that much, but I remember about a year ago, it was sold for about 50 GBP....

I have only seen it once Before I Think, and can't remember what it brought. I do have the original demo tape of this 12'' from 1989 though. It's cool but far from breath taking for me personally. Those late 80s/early 90s uk metal vinyls are cool though! =)

$78 for basically a cover only, and a busted one at that?

There are ways to flatten a warped record again. I have no experience with that, but if someone is able to do that, this might be rather a bargain.

This record can not be flattened.

If so I would have bought it for the $20 he was asking when it was in his store.
Its trashed, But isn't ebay GREAT

Another proof of what I always say, it's just important to many "collectors" that they own the record, coz most prohably never play them.

However you can try with a hair dryer to get the record at least playable, but it depends on the warp grade of the wave. Sometimes the vinyl gets straight and in case of Dark Knight it was impossible ... when I got one spot straight the wave traveled to another spot. And 98 $ are quite a bit too much for such experiments ...

Or maybe you can get a Hammer Witch EP with warped record for 78 bucks and a Hammer Witch EP whose cover pooped on and partly eaten by dog for 50 bucks... much cheaper than buying record and cover in nice shape at the same time.

Maybe the buyer has something like this http://www.vinylflat.com/vinylflatproducts.html and thought they could fix it.
