Just found this on another forum: how to spot the difference between a real yellow goat and the new bootleg.
Left = bootleg. Right = original.
According to popsike some bootlegs have sold for big bucks recently!
What about the Mexican Sade records, got recently the APOCALIPSIS CD and maybe I should put it in the "worst re-issues" thread....Worst paper material you can ever imagine! Not to mention the sound....
Yeah, just take a look at any other Fringe CD and the difference is blatantly obvious. Though they are getting pretty tricky with these boots, unless you have something to compare it to, you really would have no way of knowing
Yeah the matrix looks way different then any of the disque americ discs that were made, so at least they are not able to copy the exact font yet. Also the text on my disc looks like it wasn't completely printed right, like its faded and the ink wasn't completely printed on the disc exactly right.
Bastards! Too bad that i still not had it in my collection. Now i (and anyone who cares about true original) have to ask seller additionally about detailed photo or scan of matrix.
Decided to order Heavy Load's Death Or Glory on cd (wanted it on that format too). In the product description there was written that it's released by Thunderload records. I got it now and noticed that in the bottom of the disc there's only written "TLCD-8822" and nothing else. The cover art looks a lot lighter than the one on the lp version. According to a few sites it's supposed to be so. But what do you think guys, is this a boot or the real deal? Oh and also it smells like an old cd, but you can never know these days.
