Also, Id kill for a BRICK MISTRESS full length or a full-length from the Maryland CHEMIKILL (tracks up to par with "Deathwatch" and others from that demo).
Do you have the "P.O.W." demo? I only have "Rise or fall" which is pretty good.
I own them both. "POW" is the best song they ever did. The whole demo is great, though. I can upload them, but I need some time. My computer is messed up and right now Im logged on from my public library. This the 4th (maybe 5th) used computer Ive gone through in the last 2 months. I cant afford a new one, though...

Nicko- I'd love to hear those orig. versions of the demo/live material if you could make them available in the Poisonoise forum sometime! I heard about the Stonewitch album but didn't know it was re-done early material. I've been debating whether it's worth tracking down.... if anyone has heard it, I'd love to know your thoughts on the album and where it can be ordered from (other than directly form the band, which is the only option I've seen)

Which reminds me that if only the godly LEVIATHAN had stuck together and got a record deal on their fantastic "Legions Of The Undead" demo, we might never have been pestered with Chris Barnes' other pityful projects

It would have been interesting to see that impact on the new york scene, perhaps we wouldn't have so many clone bands today without cannibal corpse, but then again if suffocation was around we still might have, but perhaps the lack of cannibal corpse would have effected them as well.
I think clone bands suck... be it the Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation, Necrovore or Bathory clones... only originators caught the respect. I think Necrovore has influenced many bands in late 80s even without an album (like Incantation, Profanatica, David Vincent wore Necro shirt etc). But yes, with album they may have reached more people back then.
I think USA had many other good obscure black/deathcore acts like Malfeitor, Dead Conspiracy, Decapitation, Darkness, Infernal Death, Baphomet "Children of Doom" demo + some wird noise bands like Occult, Hellish Torment and Hellhouse that may have influenced VON musically.

That's one band I keep meaning to rip for Poisonoise. Like early Sodom & Necrophagia mashed together with extra HC sloppiness. "BODILY! DISMEMBERMENT!"

Yes, thats correct. Few years ago this demo was released as 7" EP also (with shitty cover). I have some live tapes also with them. Singer had cool voice!

MAX PLANCK (US) - uploaded months ago in Poisonoise, ask Dan about it.
CHALICE (US) - unique mystical epic metal, killer demo
Once the MAX PLANCK lp has been made (it MUST happen!) someone better get right on to tracking down CHALICE and dig out more material for a full-lenght retrospective. Fucking FANTASTIC demo!
"Sailing the seas of Ryyyyyee...."
Edit: The TEMPEST demo stuff that rob uploaded can't be hyped enough. What an awesome, beautiful 2LP their discog would make!

Wait.. you aren't talking about Tempest from the UK, are you?... the ex-Smokin' Roadie band? What's it like?? Is it as AOR sounding as Smokin' Roadie??? I love 'Midnight'...
