Thank you for your sensible statement P-O! I was thinking along the same lines yesterday but found my pen wasn't sharp enough so I didn't bother.

This is a good one, off the top of my head
JUDAS PRIEST ROCKA ROLLA
RUSH MOVING PICTURES/A FAREWELL TO KINGS
SACRIFICE SOLDIERS OF MISFORTUNE
VENOM WELCOME TO HELL/BLACK METAL
RAZOR EVIL INVADERS
PAGAN ALTAR VOLUME ONE
KISS ALIVE I
MOTORHEAD ANOTHER PERFECT DAY/OVERKILL
SLAYER ANGEL OF DEATH
MEGADETH RUST IN PEACE
METALLICA AND JUSTICE FOR ALL
WHILE HEAVEN WEPT VAST OCEANS/FEAR OF INFINITY
WARNING WATCHING FROM A DISTANCE
Hard one really, alot of great albums I grew up with and some new classics. I agree though when I put something on I tend to listen to the whole thing because of the mood I'm in. One minute I'll blast Cannibal Corpse then 3 hours later I'm listening to Shane Macgowen(usually because I'm on m 10th Guinness)

Here you'll find 25-something internet metal masters who discovered Agent Steel through a Rapidshare link in 2005, who never went to a metal show in their life and who'll see it fit to call you out for forgetting the title of a Jaguar album everyone reasonable would want to forget.
Makes me wonder how I discovered Agent Steel.

It's a little disturbing if this is a logical association to my name.

And was I ever involved in the controversy?

I once went to a spoken-word show with this fellow, where he showed old 60's home movies of him injecting blood and breast milk into his ass. For some funny reason I also started thinking of P-O...
OT friendly-bantering aside:
On the "Beginning to End"-front there are too many to mention. When I put on an LP I mostly play it to the end
On the "play at any time"-front I'm a bit more selective, but these come to mind:
CRYSYS - Hard As Rock
LEGEND - From The Fjords
JUDAS PRIEST - Painkiller, Sin After Sin, Stained Class
DANGER ZONE - Victim Of Time
ADRAMELCH - Irae Melanox
HOLY TERROR - both
VARVAR - Zverinaja...
SLANDER - Careless Talk..
SARCÓFAGO - I.N.R.I.
CELTIC FROST - Morbid Tales
...and tons others, but I guess the fact that these were the first dozen I though of means something (?)

Not that much with constant quality songs featured but Mortal Sin's "Mayhemic destruction" is one of them.

There are a lot that fit the discription for me:
LIZZY BORDEN - Love you to pieces
MANOWAR - Hail to England
WARLORD - Deliver Us
HEIR APPARENT - Graceful Inheritance
CRIMSON GLORY - Crimson Glory
LIEGE LORD - Freedom's rise
CANDLEMASS - Epicus Doomicus Metallicus
QUEENSRYCHE - Operation Mindcrime
SANCTUARY - Refuge denied
METALLICA - Kill 'em all
JUDAS PRIEST - Painkiller
i am sure that i am forgetting many others.

A lot of records I can listen to from beginning to end without hearing one bad note have already been listed in the earlier posts, but I'd like to add this one :
MAYHEM - "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas"

Something in the same vein:
ROTTING CHRIST - Thy Mighty Contract
and some not-so-common choices
TYRANT - Too late to pray
APOLLO RA - Ra Pariah
IRON CROSS - S/T or the OPM DLP
DAMIEN THORNE - Sign of the jackal
AXEGRINDER - Rise of the serpent men
SACRILEGE - Beyond the realms of madness MLP
REBELLION - ...And the battle begins cassette album
SAVIOUR MACHINE - S/T
...

I like for real only their Sathanas Tedeum demo, but many riffs and the overall guitar tone on that album are awesome! Speed metal bands may learn a lot from that LP!
