What did you eat today? Mushrooms?

This price is a "FDM-price" ...

Fortunately, the Avalon is only rare and not really good (IMO)
AVALONs "Third Move" is a really good imo, but it's not such a "cult" album that would fetch up totally insane prices i think. It's certanly no PAGAN ALTAR or JAG PANZER.

No it's not 'cult'. Nothing is 'cult' anymore. The term has been overused so much that it has lost its meaning. But musically it's better than PAGAN ALTAR as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah Peter, what is that Halloween lp?

Avalon variant cover is good for stamp collectors really that just want it for the cover art. I'll stick with my Killerfox "Orgasm of Death" lp for 5 euro, one of the few albums I'll keep because of killer art but shit inside the cover. Though Avalon is of course much better than Killerfox.

Personally I would pay a bit more (max. 10-20€) for a version with a better cover but certainly not such prices. Moreover, I like the regular version better. Talking about the music, imo Avalon is the best Dutch band and certainly an Euro classic I still need to purchase....

Price has nothing to do with musical quality...the thread name is collector porn so for the obscure and rare stuff. Rare does not mean expensive in all cases but in most. For sure a quality AND rarity relation pus a US metal relation double the price again.
I think 5-600 € is average and standard for Avalon grading it on the rarity scale....

@Rob: The HALLOWEEN 2-Lp is a VERY rare compilation. First release ever on the RAW POWER label made in Finland if I can read it correctly. great silvr metallic cover. A friend recently bought this. It's really cool to know there's a compilation out there featuring both SARCOFAGUS+MOTORBIRDS, BATHORY and BLACK SABBATH (!) but unfortunately there are no exclusive songs or versions on it. (For instance, the MOTORBIRDS(i.e. Moottorilinnut) song title is translated to English, but it's still the same Finnish version as on the LP - a bit of a letdown for me when I checked my friend's copy)
