It seems to be more difficult to get a room in a hotel than a ticket to KIT!

Well, I refused to be beaten. Despite there being fuck all hostel/hotel rooms left Konigshofen and surrounding I booked a hotel in Wurzburg and will commute down by train each day - only 30 minutes.

The only downside is that last train back to Wurzburg each day is about 10pm so after the festival ends I have to lurk around somewhere for six hours until the first train of the morning.

Are there any late night bars about?

Try your luck in Bad Mergentheim. It's pretty much in walking distance from the venue, around 6-7 kilometres. I managed to find hotel rooms for us there yesterday. They even seem to understand horrible germanglish with a swedish accent around there. :)
Chroming Rose “Pressure” LP found! :D

Thats not a bad idea really, why didn't I think of that. I've got a hostel bed booked there next to the castle for the 2nd, maybe i should extend it a few more days.

A friend of mine refuses to stay in a hotel so there's another one  Maybe when I'm too drunk to move there will be another one.

It's only a week, can't believe, time flies ridiculously fast.

My participation seems seriously threatened. I'm fighting a nasty illness for a third week now. Damn! :(

I hope it gets warmer or my balls will freeze off three nights in a row. And I still need my balls.

According to the weather forecast, it will get milder during next week, but there's a high risk of precipitation.

Oh well, better pack some tarpaulin.

For some reason I read that as "better pack a trampoline" Any one know a good tent/camping store in Wurzburg?

Me and my brother will stay in Bad Mergentheim too. At some hotel called Ringhotel-Bundschu - it seemed quite neat. They also provide bikes for rental - is it ok to drink and ride a bicycle i Germany? Anyway I sort of resemble my avatar, only fatter, uglier and probably not very well shaved. My brother looks pretty much like an Agnostic Front-version of me. here he is: :| .
