Why would you blame the seller?? He started at 1.99 EUR price!
The only people to blame here are the bidders, or metalheads, who didn't get their ticket at time - I mean, the organisers were selling them for 30 EUR for at least 2 month, if you don't care to at least pay within 2 months, then so be it.

It's similar to the situation with that Black Sabbath box set, that was released in 5000 copies and you could pre-order it: It was selling for $100+ shortly after it came out - and if people are willing to spend that much for it, then they must be really interested in it, and if they are, how come that they didn't bother to preorder it themselves? Are now the ebay re-sellers to blame because they're making a profit out of it? Perhaps it's not this situation isn't that similar, and the box was sold out in few hours, I don't know exactly, but for Keep it True, everyone knew it and there was enough time for everyone.

I was a bit overreacting; had a bad week then :) But someone will be at the KIT festival and paid 130 euro for a ticket :? Well, who cares...

Someone really wanted to go I guess! God I still haven't got a plane ticket or a clear idea of how long I'll be in germany for.

I still have no clue where I'm going to spend the nights. Where are the rest of you staying?

With relatives up near Hamburg, but down there in the South I'm unsure yet!

I managed to find a hotel room back in September last year. I'm staying at the Hotel Am Marktplatz in Lauda.

I arrive on the Thusday and home on the Sunday. Hopefully I can find my way there from Frankfurt airport.

So it's still possible to find a hotel room relatively close to the arena?

I went to the website of the town

http://www.lauda-koenigshofen.de/

There is a drop down top right that gives you hotels and guest houses etc.

My girlfriend is Austrian so I got her to phone around. A lot of places were already booked up. I think I got lucky

Heh, well my German is very rusty, and I don't expect citizens in a small town with 2000-something inhabitants to speak English.

Maybe I'll just ignore my sore shoulder and camp...

Camp, it's fun. You won't get much sleep though (I think the 4 nights I slept there add up to a grand total of 10 hours of sleep).

Details? It's a field of grass behind the venue, I don't think there is any "services" there. Toilets, showers etc.
Me and few mates got hotel booked already months ago. Should be 5 kilometers from the venue, last time we had one like 20 minutes walk from the venue and that was nice. I could buy records in the morning and take them back to hotel and get back in short time.

20 minutes walk? No way, I don't have the stamina for that if I'm drunk. Camping it is! Who needs to shower among beer drinking, smelly men? I'll bring a huge boombox, and have a party outside my tent every night. You're all invited!

Nicko: I suggest you bring warm clothes, and a decent tent. It might be cold during the night. Nothing a few beers can't cure though. :D

I'm staying in a hotel, posh as I am :)
But I'll definitely be in the mood for a metal party with all the classics from the 80s outside someone's tent!
